Clay Shooting Tournament
Habitat Broward is celebrating 30 years of building homes in Broward County! With the faithful support of home sponsors, volunteers and our Habitat staff, more than 340 families are in safe, affordable homes. It is our goal to raise enough money — $70,000 — from this tournament to be able to build a new home for another hard-working family!

Women Building a Legacy
Habitat Broward’s annual Women Build program brings together women from all walks of life and challenges them to make a positive impact on the future of Broward County by providing safe, healthy housing for low and very-low income families. Since 2002, thousands of women in Broward have shared their time, talents and resources to build nearly 50 Women Build homes, making Habitat Broward’s program one of the largest and most successful in the United States.
Collegiate Challenge
Every year during the month of March, hundreds of college students from across the country travel to Fort Lauderdale to help Habitat Broward build simple, decent, affordable homes for low-income families in need. The volunteers are participants of Habitat for Humanity International’s Collegiate Challenge, which is one of the country’s largest alternative spring break programs and offers the opportunity for students to gain new skills, make new friends, and make a meaningful impact on the community.
In March 2013, Habitat Broward will welcome volunteers from Rivier University, Lycoming College, University of Michigan, University of Pittsburgh, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, The College at Brockport, and University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
Sponsors of the 2013 Collegiate Challenge program include: Chick-Fil-A Miramar, The Cheesecake Factory, Popeye’s, MRW Consulting Group, Salvatore Annino, First Presbyterian Church, Robert Leider, Nancy and Paul Daly, Kevin Fernander, Kim Ball, Fort Lauderdale Baptist Church Young Professionals, Bright Star Cuisine, Publix Super Markets Inc, Ben & Jerry’s, Red Bull.
