Regular Volunteers Needed!
The Habitat ReStore needs your help! We are looking for regular and consistent volunteers. Volunteer tasks include, but are not limited to: answering the phones, customer service (must have knowledge of materials carried in the store), going out on the trucks with the drivers on a daily basis to pick up donations, greeting, ticket writing, and repairing furniture. The volunteer hours are: Monday-Friday 9:30-6, and Saturday 8-6. Due to the training and orientation involved, along with the fact that it takes a few days to truly learn everything, we are asking for a once per week volunteer commitment for at least 3 months. The Habitat ReStore is a critical part of Habitat Broward so by supporting the ReStore, you’re helping us to provide more homes to more families in Broward County.
Court Ordered Community Service Volunteers
Volunteers needing Court Ordered hours can show up anytime Monday-Friday 9:30-6:00, and Saturday 8:00-6:00. Tasks can include: unloading trucks, loading items for customers, moving items around the store, cleaning, organizing, and more. Volunteers ages 16 and 17 will need to have a parent accompany them to their first volunteer day. Please wear closed toed shoes and comfortable clothing.
