Construction Volunteers
According to federal law, all construction volunteers must be age 16 or older. No one under the age of 16 will be permitted on the construction site for safety and liability reasons. Volunteers under the age of 18 must keep their feet on the ground at all times.
Individuals
Individual volunteer opportunities are available Tuesday through Saturday year-round, excluding holidays. All volunteers must register and complete a brief online orientation prior to volunteering for the first time. Click below to get started!
Once registered, you can view and sign-up for specific volunteer tasks online by visiting the Construction Volunteer Calendar.
Groups
Corporate Workday groups receive priority scheduling and other groups are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you are interested in learning about the benefits of our Corporate Workday Program please contact Eliot: eliot@habitatbroward.org. Volunteer Opportunities at the Habitat ReStore
Volunteers age 16 and older are needed at the Habitat ReStore to help wait on customers, assemble furniture, manage stock, pick up donations, or run the register. No sign-up is necessary – simply go to the ReStore during business hours when you are ready to begin. For more information on volunteering at the ReStore, call (954) 763-7771.
