Regular Volunteers Needed!

The Habitat ReStore needs your help! We are looking for regular and consistent volunteers to assist staff in our Main Store and Annex/Warehouse (both at the same address). Volunteer positions include:

Annex General Assistant: loading vehicles, sizing and stocking hurricane panels (shutters), parking lot maintenance, general building maintenance/cleaning. Must be able to work in a non-air conditioned environment and lift 75-100 lbs.

Annex Ticket Writer: answering the phone, organizing products, sweeping/cleaning. Must be friendly with good handwriting and basic math skills.

Main Store General Assistant: unloading customer donations, loading vehicles, unloading delivery trucks, parking lot maintenance, general store maintenance/cleaning. Must be able to lift 75-100 lbs.

The volunteer hours are: Monday-Friday 10:00am-6:00pm, and Saturday 9:00am-6:00pm. Contact Gina at gina@habitatbroward.org or (954) 396-3030 Ext. 200 for more information. Court Ordered Community Service Volunteers

Volunteers needing Court Ordered hours need to complete the Court Ordered Community Service Application and submit it to Gina Caballero, Director of Community Engagement at gina@habitatbroward.org for pre-approval.

Community Service hours can be earned every Monday-Friday between 10:00am and 6:00pm, and Saturday between 9:00am and 6:00pm.  Please wear close toed shoes, no tank tops, and remember to bring your log sheet.
